Who is Raymond
Raymond Fosdick, professional photographer at Shutterfly Productions has perfected the system of managing photography beginning with preparing for the shoot to final print. Raymond’s many years of photography experience coupled with his extensive technology background has led him to be considered an expert in the workflow of a photographer.
Teaching has always been a love for Raymond. He believes that sharing the knowledge he possesses with other photographers empowers them to reach their full, individual potential. Raymond has taken many interns under his wings and helped them to cultivate their skill to a level of professionalism. He teaches his students, in and out of the classroom, intricate details about the camera, its functions and capabilities. Raymond includes in his teachings tips about taking the picture, data management and advanced Adobe Photoshop editing techniques and processing procedures.
Raymond’s love for teaching others has led him to develop a training DVD which includes topics such as RAW Workflow, Adobe Camera Raw, Actions, Scripts as well as many tips and shortcuts. This unique training DVD includes step-by-step audio and visual instructions accompanied by screen shots of each process.
When Raymond is not taking pictures, creating DVDs and writing books you can find him in the classroom sharing his knowledge and experience with new and eager students.
In his leisure time (and there is not much) Raymond enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, mountain climbing and anything that most people would consider dangerous.
While operating a photography company, writing books, creating DVDs or teaching, Raymond Fosdick enjoys interacting with people. When you meet him, whether it is as a client for photography, as a student or a casual meeting you will find you have gained not only knowledge but a good friend as well.
